How Does Therapy For Sex Workers Work?
There is currently availability to take on new online clients.
We start with a free introductory session to get to know each other and work out what you need from therapy.
Sessions are then £30 each, by bank transfer, although there can be price reductions for those experiencing severe financial hardship.
It is recommended to do weekly sessions for 12 weeks to build the therapeutic relationship, but the frequency of the sessions is up to you and your needs.
Who Is This Service For?
Our therapy sessions are available to anyone who identifies as a sworker.
Whether your work is in person, online or on the phone. We understand that SW spans many different types and forms. You are the expert on your life and experience.
Whether it’s something you have done in the past, want to do in the future, or is a part of your present life.
You don’t have to talk about your work in our sessions and your reason for wanting to go to therapy might not relate to your work.
What kind of therapy do you provide and what qualifications do you have?
The therapy provided is an online, 1 to 1 session, of person centered therapy. This means each therapeutic relationship is unique to the client and informed by the clients experience and preference. Each session will go at the clients own pace and they will not be forced into discussing anything they do not feel comfortable with.
The therapy sessions are affirmative, empathetic, judgement free spaces, where you can show up exactly as you are.
The therapy is BACP certified, trauma aware and has particular expertise in sex work and the surrounding issues.
